United Violet is an Erasmus+ project focused on gender-based violence (GBV) education and prevention through training and innovative learning methods.
The project supports educators, trainers, and organisations by providing practical tools and resources that help address GBV, promote inclusion, and foster self-expression among learners. Through storytelling, creativity, and participatory approaches, United Violet empowers women and transgender persons, strengthens resilience, and contributes to safer and more inclusive learning environments.
Gender-based violence (GBV) education helps learners understand, prevent, and respond to violence and discrimination based on gender. It focuses on building awareness, empathy, and critical thinking, while also developing social and emotional skills.
In vocational education and training (VET), educators play a key role in creating safe spaces and supporting diverse learners. United Violet provides tools for educators to integrate GBV prevention into their teaching practice and promote inclusive education across Europe.
United Violet brings together European organisations specialising in education, training, gender equality, and digital learning, working collaboratively to develop innovative approaches to gender-based violence (GBV) prevention and inclusive education.
